Paul's tryst with dubbing for Director Vijay's Thalaivaa has already been reported widely in the media. She was actually supposed to dub on her own for the director's earlier Deiva Thirumagal too, but he felt that her diction had a prominent Malayalam accent and later decided to take the services of a dubbing artist. This time around for Thalaivaa, she prepared well, worked on her voice and when she volunteered to dub again, the director gave her the go-ahead and hence Amala was able to achieve one of the dreams from her career's perspective.
Thalaivaa is set for release on August 2 and the trailer and music are already a raging success among Ilayathalapathy Vijay's fans.
